Our Vision

Hurlyvale Primary School strives to provide a balanced educational programme, characterised by the highest possible standards within a safe, happy, supportive, disciplined, moral and stimulating educational environment that is conducive to the realisation of each and every learner’s potential of developing into responsible citizens of society.

Hurlyvale Primary School advocates an ethos of “We Are Family” that promotes a strong sense of community, caring and belonging among educators, staff, learners, parents and all families of our school.

Our Mission

Hurlyvale Primary School is committed to affording the opportunity and guiding each learner to take responsibility and ownership of developing their own life and leadership skills, unique talents and personality to the best of their academic, cultural, social, artistic, sporting or practical ability.

Hurlyvale Primary School embraces a well-balanced and relevant educational programme that enhances the intellectual, physical, social and moral upbringing of its learners, with a strong emphasis on the value and importance of the good image that our school portrays and the positive influence that this has in laying a solid foundation for their futures.

Hurlyvale Primary School’s ongoing attention is focused on the continuous development of an improved curriculum and a relationship that enables our educators, parents, and learners to create a nurturing environment and collaborate in a partnership that facilitates learners to preserve their own identity with pride while respecting the professional rights of their educators and the individual rights and cultures of their educators, staff, fellow learners and families.
